West Peculiar Fire District responds to a variety of emergency and non-emergency calls from three stations, with a variety of equipment that can respond to different incidents as needed.
The response to a fire varies greatly, depending on the location and type of fire. Because every fire is different, so is the response—and it continues to evolve as the fire progresses.
A standard EMS response includes an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance and an ALS Engine company, both staffed with at least one paramedic. This ensures sufficient personnel to handle even the most serious medical calls.
